Student Handbook

Student Handbook

The Student Handbook is designed to help ensure that students have access to information to be successful at UCNJ. It contains information related to policies and procedures, general College information, an overview of resources, as well as a description of student rights and responsibilities.

General Incident Reporting Form

The General Incident Reporting Form should be utilized to report any non-emergency incidents that may be a violation of the College’s Code of Student Conduct.

Student Conduct

The conduct of any student that occurs on College premises, in online courses, online activities, and through the use of e-mail or at any College-sponsored activity is subject to the UCNJ Student Code of Conduct.

The College reserves the right to impose discipline based on any conduct, regardless of location, that may adversely affect the College community and its programs or pose a serious and substantial danger to others.聽The Student Code of Conduct applies to a student鈥檚 conduct even if the student withdraws from school or takes a leave of absence while a disciplinary matter or investigation is pending.

Additional Information regarding the Student Code of Conduct can be found in the Student Handbook.

Online Student Complaint Process

Students should direct a complaint to UCNJ for investigation and resolution. If the complaint remains unresolved after all institutional procedures have been exhausted, complaints may be directed to the SARA State Portal Entity within two years of the incident about which the complaint is made. Complaints regarding grade appeals or conduct are subject to UCNJ procedures and will not be addressed by the State Portal Entity.
